So as you guys know my P200 has decided to go and be all vintage again and quit running. I’ve got a box full of parts from Dave at scooter mercato and will be throwing them at the bike. Stay tuned for pictures progress etc as I dig back into the engine.

I think you are taking the wrong approach. I think the first thing you need to do is hire a priest, stock up on candles and religious artifacts and go at it.

Throwing parts at the engine will not work. There is an assembly process that works so much better. It will provide a place for the new parts to be stored. Consider your engine a jewelry box and the parts are your mother’s fine jewels that have just been handed down to you. Place them in the box where they will be safe until you need them. The box and it’s jewels are now very precious so be careful.
1. Do not pile cosmetic jewelry on top of your vintage stones.
2. Enjoy your jewels one at a time, do not over do it.
3. Keep your box and it’s contents clean and ready for display.

So speaking of which.. When are we going to drop your family jewels in your mother’s box?

Ross, if you would just stop f’ing with your jewels, they would work appropriately.

Effing crimped clutch cables. Not a hard fix. @kerry is badass though.
