@aries -- The snoring is a pretty minor side-effect (at least for the patient, heh) of OSA. The really bad parts are never actually sleeping, and the stress placed on the heart and whatnot by getting an extra jolt of adrenaline hundreds of times an hour every night when your brain starts to realize that it's getting low on oxygen because your airway is blocked.

Just a thought – I used to bring disposable ear plugs whenever I had to sleep with others in close proximity. I gave each person a pair with the fair warning that I might snore. Fortunately, I never kept anyone awake, but there was inevitably someone else who didn’t realize how loudly they snored.

@northdrums The sites I have reserved have power. I also have external power cords. Your not the only rider using CPAP, Jeff uses one as well. I'm all for making it a convenient trip for you.

I’m very interested, but before I completely commit I have to make sure I have my house in order. I just ordered a bunch of stuff for my Vespa, getting it ride ready for the spring.
My major concern is this, I use a cpap machine, and have to have power in order to use it. It’s quiet and very portable, but a necessity if I or anyone else in the camp want to sleep quietly! (If I’m not using it, no one will sleep well). I saw where the sites have power, but don’t know who else might need to tap into it. Let me know what you think. You won’t hurt my feelings if you think I shouldn’t come along for the ride, I don’t want to be responsible for a bunch of pissed off people. In any case, I think you will have a blast and that these weekend getaways are a fantastic idea. Keep me posted.
